Medical Interpreter Training

Mile High Multilingual Services, Inc. is licensed by Cross Cultural Health Care Program to provide Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter Training.
Bridging the Gap is the leading medical interpreter-training program in the US today. BTG prepares bilingual individuals to work as Professional Medical Interpreters.

This 5-day course will provide you with the most important standards when working in the medical field as a Professional Interpreter. Your certificate from Cross Cultural Health Care Program will be valid nationwide. Most of the medical organizations are requiring BTG training as part of the hiring process when looking for Professional Medical Interpreters.

February 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th, 2012

***We MUST have at least 10 people registered to keep the classes***

Training Process:

Limited to 18 participants, minimum 10 participants

Participants MUST pass a phone Language Proficiency Assessment (LPA) before being accepted into the training.
Complete application and deposit of $220 ($120 non-refundable) must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the training start date
As soon as the company receives the passing Language Proficiency Assessment results, the participants will receive a confirmation email "Being Accepted to the Training"

Additional information such as location, dates, time will be sent one week prior to the training start date
Attendance to the 5 days (40 hours) training is mandatory
Remaining balance is due the 1st day of the training
Once participants have completed the training and passed the final test, a certificate will be mailed within the next three business weeks.

The LPA is looking for:

The ability to communicate in the two different languages with accuracy and fluency in a wide range of context
The ability to speak in coherent, reasoned and "semantically dense" sentences
The ability to converse with ease and confidence when dealing with most routine tasks

This is a non-language specific training
